Long Dist Bus

Here's my experience with Long dist bus...specifically JB-KL,KL-JB.
i used to take KKKL...cuz it's the first non-stop bus i have come ax...i was quite satisfied with it as it's fast..rather safe n it only stop once along the highway at a small rest house. bus r quite sturdy. usu take around 3 hr. have been taking it for 2 yrs.

in any case if u r rushing home...Gunung Raya...is THE choice. it also only stop once, seats isn't as nice as KKKL...the driver r fast n reckless ( juz a personal opinion n experiece fr the one i took, but i don't know about other drivers, incase gunung raya sue me) n send u to ur destination as fast as possible.

untill last month when one of my frens told me tt KKKL seats r too narrow...(bad for long legged peeps). then i reallise where my discomfort comes from everytime...so i tried Konsortium as recommended by my fren. lucky enuf, i gt a double decker back to
jb...in deed..the seats r more comfortable n spacious...i don't really need to worry bout lowering the seats too low... i can extend my legs...n i have a gd view....it sends me home in 3hr..mayb it's as fast as gunung raya but the driver seems less reckless cuz mayb the bus is sturdier n newer. (less psycho effect)

if u r streetwise enuf. do not pick the peak time to take the bus(lunch or after work 5-7pm...else the bus will b stucked in jam n make ur journey longer by 1 hr.
the KL to JB trip costs RM24. JB to KL costs RM25. weird!!! Larkin Bus station gt collect station tax?!!!

so if any bus company come ax this post...pls do not sue me but improve ur service from my constructive comment. that is a wiser choice.

i have a few doubts here regarding laptop? hopefully someone can ans my qn!
1.anyone knows how to buy a Compaq international warranty how how much will it be?
2.how's their service like? efficient?
3.is amd turion 64X2 better or intel core duo? will amd core duo heat up as they said?
4. how's the after sales service for acer n asus like? is there a lot of service centers in australia for Acer?

Sentosa island

it's the 3rd day. woke up at 11am. skip breakfast str away. haha. iggy, teckjee n cw went to church while the rest of us were still deep asleep. (heard tt the city harvest church service at expo has 4000 pple.)later, met up at harbour front and ate subway. rush to sentosa....cycle around for 2hr and oso gt lost along the way. rush back to main island. due to time constraint we haf to give up esplanade( wat a pity) stopped by tiong bahru to eat dinner at BK. (it's truly a spore burger makan trip. all of them swear not to eat burger again for at least 1 wk) most of us ordered the turkey bacon burger. forgot to ask them to order the taro turner not found in msia. rush back yewtee. pack, wash up, catch a last glimpse of "pimp my ride" then we set off to larkin. btw, we reach sungei besi toll at 4am (bus starts at 12am) and guess wat. once we alighted and the bus sped off, teck jee did a head count and reallise tt we left wenxern in the bus, still sleeping...so in the end cw has to speed to pudu to fetch him back :D * guilty grin* wat a memorable end of the 3D/2N spore trip.

Spore trip

wow, really tired after one day of shoppin n touring around spore....here's a summary of wat we did.
on friday: meet up the rest at larkin terminal. took causeway link to kranji mrt. highlights of the night. we went NIGHT SAFARI. and stayed there for less than 3 hrs for 28 bucks. juz to watch the creature of the night show and go for the tram ride. abit not worth it but wat to do?!

on sat: went to bkt timah rd(my sch area) stop by to sight see the schools awhile then went to queensway shoppin center. before tt we stop by alexandra rd hawker and the lemon sugarcane is our savior under the hot humid weather. in the shoppin center, i juz can't bring myself to buy the ever so ex nike shorts so i resort in buying the cheaper FBTs though aesthetically wise not as nice but gd enuf for me. the guys bought some shirts too. went to sim lim sq after tt, some of them bot the silicone casing. the big purchaser is cw who bot some mp3/ipod speaker.

went to taka mos burger for dinner. the guys walk around as i chat with my frens. meet up at wisma atria starbucks for some interaction btw msian n spore after tt. stroll along orchard. try to get to music underground but gt cover charge so we took a train back in the end. the guys bot some U2 shirt and john bot a toy model and they gave me a japanese pouch. hehe. steph bot a similar but drawstring pouch. :D

Mapcu Netball

YEAH YEAH, we won the Mapcu Neball Silver. the score in prelim round we beat APPITT 8-2. then in quarterfinals we beat HELP 7-3. in semis we beat ICM 8-0 then in finals we lost to defending champ KLIUC 9-6. wat a pity. but we did our best and come so far lah.Good job Netball Gals. btw, i 'm down with some viral flue thingy. havin fever, coughing slightly. Wish me gd luck. Looking forward to the trip to spore with the rest of the batch mates.

about a month ago, we had the 3rd annual May Ling Young cup too.
as usual, we won the stuff.

Finally male netball is in already... after i put in some xtra effort to fight for it. Sometimes when come to think of it, success after hardwork is much better. Right? Thanks for those who help me and support me in one way or another :D
Thani's remark in our lecure is v. demoralising. it was a happy day after the success of malaysian studies cultural foodfair. and Thani: your food is very appetising but not for your OSPE!!! ( or something of tt meaning lah) i hope tt everyone will do well in Repro. Everyone muz Study hard for Renal now...the physio part look simple yet confusing. I can't pick up myself to study. tt's the meaning of Sense of Urgency. We muz have a sense of urgency to be efficient. for me, my sense of urgency comes around like 1 week before exam. :P

MALE NETBALL

FOllowing is just a place to vent my FRUSTRATION...

i just don't understand y they can put DOTA in IMU(which i don't play n i voted for it too) and they can't make Netball Male into IMU cup. Making it an exhibition game doesn't really help. No one will be joining it again. Purpose of me proposing it is to encourage the participation by incorporating it into IMU cup since IMU cup is the one hype up event of the school of the year. it's not hard to play, anyone who play basketball, rugby, handball, captain's ball can play. even if you can't play u can learn. everything has to have a good head start for it to propagate. i don't know whether will there be anyone pushing for it in the next IMU cup when i left....Disapointed...very! to save the fate of netball male, i suggested making medals for the exhibition game too...but i doubt pple will b joining esp when the timing is so pack, everyone's giving the reason of being tired. Frankly speaking, making it to be in point system help in promoting the sports. Majority of the pple prioritise their pragmatism instead of sportsmanship. tt's the cold hard fact of human nature...there goes one rising sports...in imu. but obviously i can't say tt in the meeting else pple will bombarb me... :(

KLIMS

We ( me ernest, john and steph ) went to KLIMS KL international Motor Show on last wed.31st may at PWTC.It was indeed an eye opener for all of us. Though i don't know the specs and house power or blah blah blah of those cars, i surely aprreciate those nice curve, nice paint, nice headlight and a nice cushion. i got to sit in some them. No matter how nice is it, a Sports car is neva my priority. I will go for the practical ones.
